Tasks
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary. In addition to the responsibilities below, the Programmer will be responsible for the overall success of software design, database creation, and the implementation of procedures and standards used in the programming of controls projects. -Integrate to third party equipment through BACnet and/or Modbus protocol. -Develop and create system graphics. -Support quality and safety standards, specifications and policies, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies. -Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business. -Mentor Junior Programmers. -Troubleshoot and correct BMS integration issues alongside Field Technicians. -Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. -Breakdown scope of work into manageable segments and coordinate with Project Manager for scheduling. -Act as Programming Team Lead on projects as required or necessary. -Follow sequence of operations as required by project documents according to company standards. -Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with building controls hardware and network architecture and mechanical HVAC equipment is required. -Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred, however, an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. -5 or more years relevant work experience in the field or relate area that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job. -Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities. -Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative is preferred -Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
