Overview

Design high‑voltage substation drawings and schematics using CAD tools

Tasks

-Support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment -Produce substation design drawings, including general arrangements, plan and elevation views, grounding, conduit, and cable schedules -Work in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or MicroStation to prepare accurate and organized design packages -Assist with redlines, as-builts, and construction revisions -Apply company and client CAD standards to maintain consistency and quality -Draft wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts for protection and control systems -Coordinate closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other design staff

What You Bring

-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow engineering markups and redlines -5+ years of experience in substation or electrical design using CAD tools -Proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical and/or MicroStation a plus) -Familiarity with high-voltage substation components and physical layout standards -Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams -Associate degree or technical training in drafting/design or related field preferred
