Tasks

-Create innovative structural solutions to achieve our client’s vision. -Help promote collaboration between engineers for our diverse multi-office structural practice by developing standards, and making connections with others that share your professional interests. -Continue to develop your technical knowledge with a local and national staff of senior engineers with diverse building design expertise. -Assist with project proposals and work planning. -Produce design documents from schematic level to final design in a collaborative environment. -Manage project tasks as part of a team to meet schedules. -Support your design by assisting contractors with shop drawings, RFIs and participating in O/A/C meetings. -Develop your skills as a project manager assisting with client interactions and project financials. -Serve as a technical and professional mentor to entry-level and developing engineers.

What You Bring

-Excellent verbal and written communication. -Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients. -Experience with BIM workflow. -Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment. -Working knowledge of current structural software (Revit, RISA, RAM Structural System, ETABS, Enercalc, etc.) -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred. -ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering -5-12 years of building-related structural engineering experience, including design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood/timber gravity & lateral systems.
