Tasks

-Cultivate and develop a high-performing transaction team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. -Developing sector and thematic investment strategies, and defending investment theses -Expanding and leveraging your network to source and evaluate high-quality opportunities -Managing a portfolio of investments, including representing SFS on boards, driving value creation, forecasting, and reporting key information internally -Leading negotiations with targets and co-investors, structuring transactions to mitigate risks and maximizing returns -Leading investment teams and collaborating with internal and external specialists to review opportunities, including due diligence, identifying key business drivers and risks, and developing financial models

What You Bring

-Having strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk analysis. -Critical thinking, ability to identify trends, defend viewpoints, and consider others' perspectives. -Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar degree is preferred but not required -A deep knowledge of the energy transition, infrastructure, digital infrastructure and/or industrials sectors and key macro and micro drivers. -Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a similar quantitative field. -Highly organized, flexible, and efficient, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines routinely -Strong interpersonal, project management, communication, and presentation skills. -You must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. -Experience with transaction execution with a successful track record of initiating, managing, negotiating, and closing complex transactions. -An established and robust network and proven track record to build relationships and source and shape investment opportunities. -6-9 years of equity investment experience in Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Development, and/or Project Finance. -Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
