Cleaning & Guest Services Manager

Overview

Manage cleaning operations and guest services for Defence bases.

Tasks

-Respond to client enquiries, handle questions or complaints quickly and professionally -Coordinate the development & implementation of guest and cleaning service strategies & action plans that continue operational excellence. -Provide leadership & technical support to Supervisors & Managers on matters relating to operations & people management. -Manage cleaning supplies and equipment for the team -Employee rostering ensuring service requirements are achieved & operational planned variances are met -Work closely with the Training Coordinator to develop & empower your team -Regular reporting on performance and operational efficiency -Handle budgeting and ensure the team runs efficiently -You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement. You coach and empower teams to deliver operational excellence, embedding safety as a core value in every aspect of work. What You Bring

-A diploma or degree in facilities management, Hospitality Management, business administration, or a related field (advantageous) -Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police -Excellent communication and leadership skills -A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement -Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to accommodation & cleaning -Certification in cleaning management or a related discipline (advantageous) -3+ years’ experience in a managerial role in cleaning or a similar field -Uniform/PPE supplied.
