Hospitality Intern (Vue Luxury Apartments)

Tasks

-Assist in planning, marketing, preparing for and hosting resident events. -Maintain orderliness of pool area and roof top deck and by periodically resetting furniture after resident use. -Walk models and amenity areas to maintain and ensure spaces are tidy and orderly. -Periodically shop comp properties to provide understanding of sub-market to Property Manager. -Regularly must stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or bend. -Answer basic customer questions related to the property. -Will regularly spend time in outdoor weather conditions while moving about the property for basic job functions. -Communicate with Property Manager to understand daily and weekly priorities -Maintain orderliness of coffee supplies in resident coffee bar. -Walk vacant units to ensure spaces are tidy, orderly and ready for show and/or occupancy. -Assist team members with outreach marketing to local business and preferred employers. -Greet customers when working from leasing office.

What You Bring

-Rarely must work in high, precarious places, near toxic or caustic chemicals, with risk of electrical shock, with vibration. -Rarely must lift more than 100 pounds. -Beginner computer skills. -Occasionally must lift 25 pounds or more with assistance -Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree program related to Hospitality, Real Estate, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Business. Completion of a minimum of 3 semesters. -Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present -Primarily will work indoors year-round. -Regularly must lift up to 25 pounds. -Normally works in an environment with moderate noise. -Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s & 100s -Ability to use all cleaning equipment. -Rarely must sit, climb or balance. -Occasionally must work in conditions that are wet or humid, extremely cold or extremely hot (nonweather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles.
