The Role

Overview

Conduct Phase I environmental site assessments, research, reporting, and client communication.

Tasks

-Report authoring -Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by email), and recommendations to the Project Manager and Client. -Identify and resolve issues with projects -Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.) -Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project -Complete specific project tasks as directed by the Project Manager -Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary -Data compilation and organization -Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget -Conduct project research as applicable to the scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.) -Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope -Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager -Communication with client and subject site representatives -Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan -Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files -Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and clients, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process -Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule

What You Bring

-Exceptional writing skills -Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen -2 + years of consulting or intern experience is a plus. -Must be able to perform fieldwork and have a valid driver's license. -Excellent communication skills -Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team -Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in biological/physical/environmental sciences. -Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift. -Ability to work on projects concurrently -Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone -Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time -Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
