Tasks
-Perform highly complex technical assignments related to stormwater, pump stations, roadway and/or bridge construction -Be responsible for coordinating and managing a team of inspectors -Assures the quality of the contractor’s work -Be responsible for verifying the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration -Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors and assist in all phases of the CEI construction project -Attend construction meetings with client and contractors -Maintain daily contact with contractors to discuss construction activities -Preparing reports and maintaining daily logs of inspections and reviewing any discrepancies with the proper parties -Making and check engineering computations -Implement field changes to required drawings and specifications -Receive general instructions regarding assignments and is expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of construction related work problems -Inspecting construction work and conducting field tests

What You Bring
-FDOT Intermediate MOT -CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection - Required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structure foundations -Recognizes construction problems and communication with relevant team members to apply standard techniques and procedures to solve the problem -Civil Engineering degree and one (1) year of roadway and/or bridge construction experience -Aptitude to act as a positive representative of the Stanley Consultants, Inc. core values and an active participation in an outside professional organization or internal Stanley committees (i.e., Group Safety Committee, MAC, etc.) -Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification -CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I -CTQP Pile Driving Inspection -Excellent visualization, communication, and documentation skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) -CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I -High school graduate or equivalent plus four (4) years of experience in roadway and/or bridge construction inspection, or -CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II -CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I -Ability to assist Project Administrator and be able to fill this role temporarily in their absence -Proven ability to distribute learned knowledge to project personnel, Inspectors and Material Testing Technicians -CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
