Tasks

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the entire subcontract operations feeding into our clients Worcester manufacturing facility. This position is integral to the company's manufacturing value chain, directly impacting their ability to deliver to global blue-chip customers. -Conduct quarterly sub-contractor performance and business improvement reviews. -Conduct physical inventories of all WIP at external sub-contract locations and follow up any apparent variances. -Meet rigorous timing, quantity, and quality standards to fulfil sales commitments -Ensure efficient and effective management of all subcontract operations -Undertake risk reviews of subcontractors and ensure appropriate mitigations are in place, ensuring all sub-contractor audit commitments and improvement plans are concluded. -Manage the sub-contract supply chain from start to finish, ensuring all subcontractor performance commitments adequately support weekly and monthly site Sales Plans -Work closely with internal and external logistics and dispatch co-ordinates to ensure the prompt movement of components to and from sub-contractor locations with minimal delay. -Effectively manage relationships with a small group of approved, critical sub-contractors. -Collaborate daily with senior site management on strategic operational decisions -Ensure subcontract agreements and related transactional documents are accurate, complete, and conform and comply with established QMS and customer flow-down procedures. -Work closely with the QA team to ensure sub-contractor NCRs are raised promptly and all resulting corrective actions are closed out satisfactorily. -Maintain accurate tracking records of all WIP within the sub-contract supply chain. -Assist with development and negotiation of subcontract documents. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives in subcontract operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs -Monitor and report daily subcontractor performance adherence against Plan and prior commitments – providing detailed input to support the 3x weekly Sales Planning meetings.

What You Bring

-The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. -Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple assignments, and work under strict deadlines. -Must be able to work for long periods of time in an administrative desk type work environment as well as having the flexibility to travel to/from subcontractor locations (sometime at short notice).

Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum -Significant career growth potential within a profitable, globally recognised brand -Life Assurance - You will be covered by Company’s Life Assurance benefits. The scheme provides for a lumpsum benefit payable on death in service equivalent to 2x pensionable salary. -Pension - 5%-3% -Holidays - 25 days holiday plus banks (The company elects to be closed for normal business over the Christmas period a total of 6 days of which 3 are from normal holiday entitlement and 3 are from statutory entitlement)
