Tasks

-Stay current/updated with technical and functional developments in area of specialty through continuing education, conferences, and periodicals, for example, and continue to develop in-depth specialization, if desired -Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed -Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards -Participate in Fluor University for training and career development -Maintain supplier quality surveillance (SQS) logs and input to databases (such as MatMan, SAP, Invoice commitment, etc.) -Perform support of basic SQS activities

-Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job -Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical field of study preferred -Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner -Oral and written communication and computer skills -Basic leadership and decision-making skills -A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements -Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors -Basic interpersonal skills -One (1) year of related quality assurance/project experience -Basic to intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
