Tasks

As a Tier IV Electronics Technician, you’ll take a leading role in equipment reliability, automation optimization, and process improvement across HiTHIUM’s U.S. manufacturing operations. You’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with data-driven decision making to increase uptime, reduce recurring failures, and enhance system efficiency. This position represents the transition from advanced technical capability to leadership in reliability and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify systemic issues, develop long-term solutions, and guide technical initiatives that elevate plant performance. -Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for high-impact downtime events and implement sustainable corrective actions. -Develop and execute reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for automated systems and robotics. -Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using data from EAM, MES, and production KPIs -Drive initiatives in predictive and condition-based maintenance (vibration, thermography, harmonic, etc.) -Coordinate technical training and knowledge-sharing across technician tiers -Support new equipment commissioning and contribute to design feedback for maintainability. -Support PLC and controls logic optimization in collaboration with engineering. -Partner with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects that enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.

Together, we can make sustainability a reality for more people. -Manufacturing environment with exposure to high-voltage equipment, moving machinery, and automation systems. -Effective communication and teamwork in cross-functional settings. -PPE compliance is mandatory, including electrical arc flash protection when working on live systems. -High School Diploma or equivalent -Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies. -Experience leading technical projects and coordinating multi-discipline teams. -Advanced understanding of PLC networks, robotic systems, and automated controls -Ability to analyze equipment performance data and translate findings into actionable plans -Familiarity with RCA tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) and CI principles (Kaizen, TPM)\ -Excellent communication, documentation, and mentorship skills. -7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or reliability engineering
