Tasks

-Promotes a work environment that is professional and constructive -Works closely with Walkers/Superintendents regarding project planning, field leadership, work plan development, submissions, and approvals -Manages complex material supplies and drafts scopes of work for subcontractors -Conducts recurring team meetings to stay aligned with the expectations and goals of a project -Develop work plans and hazard analysis plans for crews to follow to execute the work safely -Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. -Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and productivity goals -Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects -Provides critical information about the current status of a project and accurately estimates how it will finish from a cost and revenue perspective from where it started -Performs complex construction designs - SOE, Hydraulics, PLC, Marine, etc. -Supports safety in job performance and communication

What You Bring

-Ability to relocate as needed -Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, database management, AutoCAD -Experience with Bridge Construction strongly preferred -Strong communication and active listening skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering, or engineering-related field -Understands and promotes innovation for cost and schedule improvements -Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems -Marine construction experience is preferred -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy civil construction -Strong ability to mentor team members -Ability to work well in a non-structured environment
