Overview

Manage civil/site design projects and client relationships in Tallahassee, FL

Tasks

-Complete construction cost estimating. -Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets. -Assist with site plan approvals in the area. -May also conduct code research, write specifications, and other project specific tasks. -Collaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. -Ensure projects meet all local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Coordinate with agency staff and manage the submittal and permitting process. -Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing technical guidance and delegating work effectively. -Project Manager responsible for client relationship management.

What You Bring

-Ability to work in a team environment. -Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design, using Civil 3D. -B.S. in Civil Engineering required; -At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. -Only recipients of an offer of employment from Dewberry, will be required to submit to a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report. These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law. -Florida PE required. -Knowledge of ICPR4/Stormwise preferred. -5+ years or more experience directly related to the design and execution of Land Development Projects required. -Ability to communicate effectively with clients. -Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required
