AutoCAD Technician

Overview

Prepare and manage AutoCAD design and as-built drawings for offshore wind projects.

Tasks

-Ensure that drawings are prepared, stored, issued and archived in accordance with company procedures via internal CAD Data Management software -Assistance, where required, with project tender packages -Formulation of deliverable packages and liaise with document control teams. -Liaise with colleagues, other departments and project teams with respect to drawing requirements -Interrogation/preparation of concept/designs. -Take part in roles assigned within a BEP and work to BS EN ISO 19650 -Preparation of project as-built drawings. -Preparation of project design drawings, including site layouts civil GAs, traffic management, vehicle swept path analysis, route plans, etc. -Co-ordinate with internal & external team members/design teams/project teams where required. -Prepare drawings in accordance with current company CAD Standards

What You Bring

-Capability to work to strict deadlines and project budgets -ONC or Equivalent in relevant field -Previous experience in energy/linear projects -Advanced AutoCAD and/or MicroStation skills -Attendance at internal company Health & Safety courses & CDP sessions -Experience working as Assistant Technician -Working knowledge of BIM workflows
