Tasks

-Assists in preparation and delivery of design staff evaluations, responsible for performance development and workload allocation processes of department -Reviews building codes and conducts zoning analyses to ensure that designs comply with minimum legal standards -Acts as mentor by coaching and motivating design teams and individuals; fostering an environment of mutual respect and trust among members of the group as it grows and develops -Participates inappropriate professional and client-oriented organizations, maintains active memberships and attends conferences and activities -Manages coordination of outside disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical and other consultants -Leads technical working group discussions about production best practices -Assists all project teams in model setup and maintenance as appropriate -Interfaces with client son design issues and develops architectural solutions -Establishes budget, task schedule, and other components of the project work plan -Participates in interviews and recruiting professional staff -Leads development of production drawings and construction documents -Assists with resource management and planning for architectural projects -Leads development of design concepts for clients/projects -Works closely with project architects with respect to budget and schedule constraints -Adheres to our Quality Management System -Assists others with project deadlines as available -Guides and monitors production workflow activities on all studio projects; conducts technical and design reviews -Manages design analysis and compilation of specifications for basic to complex architectural assignments -Encourages staff exploration and innovation to achieve project design excellence and continual improvement -Provides project data analysis -Leads office design reviews and critiques -Manages team collaboration to advance design concepts -Directs preparation of drawings to create and document architectural designs -Ensures timely and effective management and delivery of drawings -Facilitates knowledge of current graphic standards and building construction methods -Develops, executes, and maintains firm wide library of standard details, etc. -Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with management and project team members -Develops and manages project delivery workflows for architectural work

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Architecture degree required; Masters of Architecture preferred -Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and sustainable practices -All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171 -Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, complemented by strong presentation skills -Architect License -10+ years of architecture and design experience -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe CC Suite -Capability in Rendering Software, Lumion or Enscape is desired but not required
