Tasks

-Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across all support functions -Promote a proactive safety culture through training, engagement, and visible leadership -Provide strategic and tactical leadership to site-level quality, safety, engineering, processing, mix, and tooling teams -Monitor key performance indicators and drive data-based decision-making across support functions -Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions for quality and safety incidents -Oversee the development and control of mix formulations, process parameters, and tooling readiness to support production needs -Develop and maintain systems that support product quality, workplace safety, and process capability -Maintain audit readiness and lead internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and environmental compliance -Identify and implement processing improvements to reduce waste, improve product quality, and enhance workplace safety -Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations -Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline -Support the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations -Lead or support kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean manufacturing initiatives -Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and tooling are optimized for performance, reliability, and safety -Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies to reduce operational, environmental, and safety risks -Ensure alignment with corporate policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

What You Bring

-Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory frameworks -Effective leadership, coaching, and team development skills -Demonstrated experience in managing or collaborating with quality, safety and engineering functions -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred) -5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role -Strong knowledge or lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and quality management systems -Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
