The Role

Overview

Support and enhance PeopleSoft Financials and other ERP systems for finance operations.

Tasks

-Serves as a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Financials (GL, AP, AR, AM, PO, etc.) and other financial systems -Ensures compliance with internal controls, SOX and other regulatory requirements -Collaborates with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements -Supports month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring system accuracy and availability -Analyzes data and generates reports to support financial decision-making -Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times -Troubleshoots and resolves system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations -Performs system configuration, testing, and deployment of updates, patches and new features -Develops and maintains documentation including process flows, user guides and training materials -Participates in system upgrades, migrations and integrations with third-party applications

What You Bring

-Previous experience working with other financial systems such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, Workday or Hyperion (preferred) -Previous experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI, nVision, BI Publisher or Tableau (preferred) -Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles -Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively review, test and resolve any obstacles -Previous experience working within project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall (preferred) -Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role -CPA or other financial certifications (preferred) -Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. -Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers -3+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials or similar ERP systems (required) -Experience with and proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (required) -Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems or related field (required)
