Overview

Implement BIM processes, manage model coordination, and support BIM/CAD workflows for a major Riyadh infrastructure project.

Tasks

-Maintains the project Exchange Information Requirements for flow-down to the supply chain -Develop standard workflows for inter-operability between BIM/CAD with GIS to support construction &, safety, sustainability and permitting processes -Provide BIM production support to project teams, champions maintenance of the: Common Data Environment (CDE), model federation and interference management, quality checking deliverables (3D/2D), model coordination and deliverable generation to satisfy project BIM uses. -Ensuring coordination of BIM activities (i.e., coordinate systems, standard templates, clash management, design review, etc.,) are shared and complied to among the design subcontractors, -Conducts regular Assessments to review the implementation of the BEP and compliance to the project execution strategy, capture Lessons Learned and seek opportunities for improvement -Ensures the project meets the information requirements, and industry wide standards (i.e. ISO19650). -Provides operational support to BIM coordinators at 3rd Party engineering consultants, design firms and/or subcontractors. -Creation and maintenance of federated models throughout the lifecycle of the project. -Develop/Enhance standard processes for BIM/3D model health check against project requirements -Supports design and construction reviews and coordination and manages issue/action logs -Develop processes to integrate BIM/3D models with schedule to generate 4D simulation of construction sequence -Create standard processes for the preparation of model-based design quantity take-offs, enables construction quantity reporting processes and forecasting -Developing/Enhancing, communicating and institutionalizing standardized BIM workflows to the project stakeholders and subcontractors (e.g., Design, Construction, and Project Management) -Conduct model audits and liaise with Client representative’s BIM Manager on model performance and structure. -Visits job sites to facilitate BIM discussions and execution -Participates regularly with off-project functional BIM team for training and development, knowledge sharing, management and lessons learned -Capture lessons learned and manage the implementation of improved workflows. -Single and multi-discipline design coordination ensuring best practice is followed. -Develop processes to integrate BIM/3D models and Quantity Take-off Templates for construction progress tracking and reporting -Performing clash and coordination detection on behalf of the project and reporting on model coordination issues.

What You Bring

-Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or relevant work experience with 5+ yrs in a BIM role. -Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a project delivery environment. -Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to relay BIM/CIM and technology solutions to engineering and construction professionals. This includes facilitating meetings with project management & client-facing presentations -Training of project delivery team on the CDE and associated BIM workflows to support the delivery of the project key processes and deliverables
