Overview
Lead design of HVAC systems for healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial projects.

Tasks
-Perform and review ventilation, cooling, and heat load calculations. -Must take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you. -Perform and oversee HVAC system life cycle cost studies, energy studies, and conditional assessments. -Perform flow and pressure drop -Select equipment for various project and system types, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. -Lead the selection, design, and engineering of HVAC systems for healthcare, commercial, educational, and industrial facilities. -Leading teams, client management writing proposals. -Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and provide expert evaluations.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of ASHRAE standards. -Exhibits thorough understanding of applicable building codes. -Knowledge of building plumbing and fire protection systems is a plus. -Excellent organization and time management skills. -BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience). -Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. -Ability to perform the duties of the position as outlined above. -Commissioning certification is a plus. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proficient in the use of Trane Trace 700, or Carrier HAP program. -Proficient in the use of Microsoft office software packages. -Inter-personal skills and a positive attitude are a must. -Proficient in the use of AutoCAD. -LEED/AP highly preferred. -Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines, in a fast-paced environment. -Experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities. -Ability to work effectively individually and within a team environment. -Current PE registration preferred. -Revit experience is a plus.
