Tasks
-Rapidly iterate designs to achieve optimal performance, cost, and manufacturability. -Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of utility scale solar power plant installation and deployment. -Design, prototype, and build mechanical systems and components for automation and field efficiency. -Conduct thorough design analysis and hands-on validation using sound engineering practices. -Participate in field trials of robotics and other new/unproven technology

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. -Experience with static structural finite element analysis software (ANSYS/ABAQUS/SolidWorks Simulation). -Experience with prototyping, production, and troubleshooting of automated systems. -CAD proficiency including 3D modeling & 2D drafting (SolidWorks preferred). -Strong sense of urgency and ownership -Ability to travel to project sites, up to a couple times a month.
