Tasks

-Exercise discretion and independent judgement when handling day to day information -Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment -Connect cables and wire between machine and equipment -Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment -Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers -Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices -May diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards -May plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus to buildings -Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components -Use a variety of tools or equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps -Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting company’s safety culture

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings -Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction -At least 3 years’ experience as an electrician -Diagnose malfunctioning electrical apparatus -NCCER or Journeyman’s electrical license -Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance -Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail -Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds and up to 150 pounds with help -Ability to work outdoors, exposed to heat and humidity, cold and rain, and around heavy traffic areas -Knowledge of arithmetic -Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities -Ability and willingness to travel as required -Ability to work cooperatively across all levels delivering on commitments – results oriented -Ability to operate job related tools -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -High School Diploma or GED required -Ability to work under pressure to meet department targets and deadlines -Ability to work non-routine hours, when necessary
