The Role
Overview
Lead design, docs, and administration for federal/municipal architecture projects.

Tasks
-Support business development activities through proposal input and project presentations, as needed. -Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment. -Conduct code analysis, material research, and specification writing. -Contribute to project design through sketches, 3D modeling, and development of creative, practical solutions. -Participate in and lead various phases of architectural projects, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. -Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery. -Manage project scope, budget, and schedule under the guidance of senior architects or project managers. -Participate in project-related travel within the region (within 400 miles), with occasional international travel as needed.

(no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa) -16+ years of relevant experience required -Accredited Professional Degree in Architecture required (Bachelor or Master of Architecture) -Active architectural license required -Proficient in AutoCAD™ and Revit™ -Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with in-house disciplines and external consultants. -Active Top Secret clearance or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret required -Proficient with Federal and Department of Defense design standards and project conventions -Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented and thorough in their desire to provide exceptional client service. -Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel and Word -Substantial experience in construction documentation and building detailing required -Must be a U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Passport -Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchup, and other graphics programs desirable -Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. -Candidate must possess both excellent design and technical skills; and be motivated to apply those skills to the development of superior architecture. -Experience in creating interesting and engaging graphics for building design presentations is vital.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 - $165,000.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
