Tasks

-Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice -As part of a multi-discipline project team representing AESG, conduct site inspections of Data Centre and verify the tested results are correct. -Provide support to the project by delivering commissioning services in line with the high-standards clients of AESG have come to expect. -Track completion of tasks, prepare lookaheads and trackers for project milestones -Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice -liaise with contractors commissioning team in a professional manner -Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner -Keep daily diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site. -Produce documentation to a high standard, including site observation reports -Participate in meetings and workshops regarding discipline when required -Independently conduct site inspections in selected discipline -Carry out side observations with respect to quality of installation -Review design information, tolerances and agreed methods of working -Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines

What You Bring

-Incorporated Engineer, desirable but not essential -MEP / Building services Engineering Degree -Commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG or NEBB, desirable but not essential -ONC, OND or equivalent -Able to work independently on complex tasks. -HNC, HND or equivalent -Must have data center experience -MEP Trade time served + City & Guilds certificate -BSc Electrical Engineering -Minimum 7 years of job-related experience + college or Trade Certificate -MEP / Building services Engineering College Diploma -BSc Building Services Engineering -CSA Grade 4 qualifies, desirable but not essential -Significant experience and advanced competencies. -Minimum 6 years of job-related experience + college diploma -Minimum 5 years of job-related experience + Engineering degree -MEP / Building services Engineering College Certificate -BSc Mechanical Engineering
