Tasks

-Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and Tarkett requirements. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, WIP and payroll. -Maintain state registrations and business licenses to ensure legal compliance across jurisdictions. -Strategic Support: Provide financial insights for decision-making and managing insurance administration. -Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, job costing, payroll, tax compliance, banking, and cash flow management. -Prepare monthly reports for workers’ compensation and general liability insurance. -Benefits Administration: Manage employee master data, benefits programs, and payroll setup, ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws. -Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews, providing insights and corrective recommendations. -Accounting operations software for construction (e.g. Foundation Software) -Compliance, Controls & Risk: Ensure adherence to financial regulations ( GAAP), tax laws, and internal controls; coordinate audits and manage enrollment in Owner Controlled and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP and CCIP) to ensure project-wide coverage and regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

-Project accounting (must) -Resourceful, problem-solver, driven and dynamic. -Accounting construction experience, (must) -Valid Public notary -Construction management Software (e.g., Procore) -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel). -Supervisory experience. -5+ years of financial management experience, -Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (CPA preferred). -Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
