Tasks

-Collaborate with the purchasing and operations teams to reconcile purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices for fixed assets. -Organising and setting up bank payments -Assist with processing staff expense claims -Assist in bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all bank transactions. -Helping with administration tasks for our machine transport -Support the Accountants in ad hoc financial tasks, answering the telephone and reporting tasks. -Keeping track of company insurances, and renewal dates -Maintain credit card expenses, checking balances and transactions ensuring VAT receipts are supplied and submitted on time & prompting cardholders to update information required and checking all information is correct -Raising manual sales invoices for machine sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Administrator. The role will primarily involve supporting the Accountants with various accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes within the company. The successful candidate will have excellent numerical skills, strong attention to detail, and a desire to develop their career in finance. -Proficiency in using accounting software. -Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues from various departments. -Knowledge of the construction or plant hire industry would be advantageous. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Working towards AAT or similar would be ideal -Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. -Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices would be advantageous. -Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
