The Role

Overview

Design and develop urban/rural roadway projects, including geometry, drainage, and estimates.

Tasks

-Support project assignments ranging from intersection improvements to complex interchange and corridor projects -Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations -Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects -Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates

What You Bring

-Local candidates preferred -Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field -Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate -Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d

Benefits

-Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
