Tasks

-Control system design including the development of control system architectures and instrumentation design. -Leading electrical design teams and mentoring junior engineers. -Preparation of engineering reports and specifications. -LV distribution design including the development of maximum demand calculations, single line diagrams etc. -Electrical design drafting. -Specification of switchboards and motor control centres (MCC’s), including design of solutions incorporating varied functional requirements, drives and power electronics.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Brisbane office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, applying your technical expertise in a supportive and innovative environment. -Experience designing for hazardous areas or machine safety is highly regarded. -Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or relevant training and experience. -Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills. -5 plus years’ relevant experience. -Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of own work and work of others. -CPEng or RPEQ registration is preferred, though candidates actively working towards or intending to obtain CPEng will be considered. -Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously and effectively in a team, facilitating information transfer, and coordinating with other team members. -Demonstrated time management skills.
