What You Bring
-At least 6 years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction industry -Experience with start-up and commissioning of telecommunications systems -Professional Engineer (PE) license -Experience in providing assurance and checking of telecommunications systems designed by others -Knowledge and design experience of telecommunications infrastructure for life safety and security systems; fire alarm, access control, CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) -Strong structured cabling design background -At least 4 years of telecommunications design experience in semiconductor or data center industries -Knowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) as applicable to telecommunications design requirements -BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International), RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) credential, or the ability to obtain in 6 months -Knowledge and design experience with emergency responder radio and DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) -Knowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standards -Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks design software platforms -Knowledge of telecom infrastructure for control systems -Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree -Proficiency with Bluebeam -Bachelor’s degree -Effective verbal and written communication skills -Experience estimating and scheduling design efforts for large multi-building projects with multiple phases and design packages -Other certifications, such as BICSI OSP (Outside Plant) or BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager) -Familiarity with Navisworks -Experience leading telecommunications design team -Experience editing design and construction specifications -Project management experience
