The Role

Overview

Manage engineering projects from concept to completion in ductile iron pipe manufacturing.

Tasks

-Communicates with management on cost, design, and schedule of projects. -Evaluate equipment designs and schematics to ensure project requirements will be met. -Work closely with the maintenance department to coordinate the installation of new equipment and help set up maintenance procedures. -Will also be working closely with outside contractors. -Research and analyze vendor design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. -Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion. -Oversee design, installation, and operation of new and modified equipment. -Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated knowledge in manufacturing/assembly procedures. -Experience with large manufacturing facilities preferred. -Ability to work well individually and as part of a group. -Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and make decisions. -Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other related discipline preferred. -Solid works or equivalent. -Proficiency with MS office programs required. -3 years of project management experience preferred.
