Light Duty Cleaner

Overview

Part‑time cleaner handling floors, carpets, washrooms, and waste removal.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned including: clean/disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances as applicable, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors. -Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points -Monitors possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out -Participate in all training as required. -Replenish supply of consumables such as: toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitizer, etc. -Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company. -Spot clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc. removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces. -Sweep/dry mop, and wash/buff floors and stairwells utilizing manual and power scrubbing equipment as applicable. -Vacuum carpets and matting in offices and common areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo when directed rugs in assigned buildings. -Maintain and carry out preventative maintenance procedures on floor machines, vacuums, automatic scrubbers and buffers.

What You Bring

-Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication. -Experience with auto scrubbers an asset. -Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team. -Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment. -High dusting and wall washing. -Clean elevator(s) as applicable. -Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance. -Dependable and have reliable transportation.
