Tasks

-Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget -Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems -Prepares project reports for management, client, or others -Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. -Leads the project team -Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the project; including safety, performance, budget, scheduling, equipment management and quality -Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws -Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority -Coordinates project activities with Traylor personnel and joint venture partners -Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources -Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required -Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

What You Bring

-Mathematical skills -Problem-solving skills -Ability to speak, write, and understand English clearly. -Ability to sit or stand for entire shift -Ability to relocate as needed -Minimum of five years’ experience in design, project management, and supervisory experience required -Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds. -Leadership ability -Minimum ten years progressive project experience in heavy civil underground environments -Analytical skills -Organizational skills -Communication skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering, or Construction Management -Occasionally requited to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climb. -Interpersonal skills -Experience with Tunnel Construction required -Technical skills -Ability to work on a team -Travel will be required to attend training and meetings.
