Manages electrical projects and prepares estimates, overseeing bids, schedules, and client relations.

Tasks

-Price change orders as required and be able to meet with customer to explain and defend -Review and evaluate project plans and specifications, bid documents, and other relevant -Identify any issues, conflicts, and other problems in the bid documents. -Ensure changes in project plan are communicated to team members. -Calculate the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available -Reviews quotes to confirm adherence to quote requests and accuracy of quotes received. -Respect decision-making boundaries and know when to call the attention of the manager. -Lead estimating close out meetings, project kickoff meetings, and project closeout -Fill in for other project managers by managing daily operations in their absence. -Build and maintain good working relationships with clients to ensure complete customer -Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of multiple projects from start to finish. -Identify strategies to create bid advantages. -Anticipate potential problems and devise solutions proactively. -Develops and maintains a positive relationship with vendors & customers. -Prepares bid documents including specific scope letter for each project, develops the -Request material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers. -Carry out quality reviews and checks to ensure project operations are in line with industry -Conduct assessments to identify and seek solutions to project problems in order to reduce -Provide monthly financial reporting and projecting with management. -Analyze project for value engineering options while taking into account specific job

What You Bring

-Proficient with BluBeam, Excel, and Word software (Office 365) -Knowledgeable with a wide variety of electrical materials and methods of installation -Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment -BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field -Outstanding communication and customer service skills -Excellent organizational and time-management skills -At least 3 years of combined experience in estimating or project management in the
