Overview

Perform repetitive electrical testing, inspection, and documentation of products.

Tasks

-Two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including engine stands hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoists -Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standards -Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations -Inspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operation -Inspect all work and insure it meets requirements prior to passing it on to the next operation -Document actions by completing production and quality forms -Push/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance -Prepare product for test by safely making the connections required for test being performed -Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results -Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of testing tasks as needed

What You Bring

-Is able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material -Ideally has 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment -Bending/stooping – frequent -Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles -Is able to safely use small hand and power tools -Walking – continuous -Squatting/kneeling – frequent -Griping, manipulation, fingering –continuous -Is able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English -Carry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feet -Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development -Lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waist -Push/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis -Has basic computer skills -Variable hand/power tool use – frequent -Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistance -Standing – continuous -Lifting – frequent -Frequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)
