Tasks

8. Visit Sites across Bangalore 3. Review and evaluate contractor quotations, bids, and material rates. 6. Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project costs and timelines. 10. Support project audits, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations. 5. Prepare and review measurement sheets, work certifications, and contractor bills. 1. Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for residential and commercial projects. Job Summary: The Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects within the real estate division. The role involves cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and ensuring project cost efficiency from inception to completion. 7. Identify and analyze variations and claims, ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals. 9. Maintain updated records of all cost-related documents and project financial reports. 2. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure project feasibility and profitability. 4. Manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost control throughout all project phases. 8. Assist in procurement planning and vendor negotiations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). 2. 3–7 years of experience in QS or cost management within the real estate or construction industry. 1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. 7. Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects. 5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 6. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines. 3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and estimation techniques.
