The Role

Overview

Outside B2B sales rep driving multi‑family flooring growth.

Tasks

-Demonstrating products and services to existing accounts and potential new customers, and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs. -Reporting to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the competitive landscape. -Performing random job site inspections and reporting results to the Installation department. -Providing floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates. -Sustaining a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting. -Promptly addressing customer concerns, complaints and problems. -Maintaining an organized sample/showroom and sales office.

What You Bring

-Ability to conduct business using various remote tools, as needed (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.). -Prior multi-family sales experience is preferred, but is not required. -Professional verbal and written communication skills. -A clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites within the assigned territory are essential requirements of the job. -Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through. -Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is a plus, but is not required. -Coachable, with the willingness and ability to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve our customers and grow the business. -Positively persistent customer focus - strives to partner with customers and add value to the relationship. -Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. -Ability to comfortably deal with ambiguities, and to achieve goals while regularly functioning independently. -Highly energetic with a strong hunter mentality. -Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but is not required.
