Tasks
-Draft and process Requests for Information (RFI) -Manage distribution and pricing of project changes -Assist in preparing final as-built plans and documentation -Attend foremen’s meetings and draft meeting minutes -Review and understand all drawings and specifications -Assist with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling -Assist in tracking labor costs -Participate in Last Planner system -Attend and participate in project management and other company meetings -Process subcontractors change requests -Participate in BIM coordination meetings -Collect and report the required information to support the Cost History Department -Research prospective clients -Manage the punch list process -Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements -Track project workforce goals/vendor goals -Assist with subcontractor procurement (bid solicitations, bid analysis and tabulations) -Conduct and provide timely documentation for construction coordination meetings -Perform pre-punch with an aim at providing a “zero item” punch list -Participate in and prepare required documentation for QA/QC page turn session -Attend all project and company safety meetings -Attend monthly Project Assessment and assist with documentation to management -Review subcontractor invoices -Review project close-out documentation for accuracy and completeness -Participate in safety training -Attend pre-installation meetings and mock-up reviews -Participate in daily/weekly work planning -Participate in start-up meetings and preparing documentation in conjunction with field staff -Assist with preparing Schedule of Values, Sworn Construction Statement, Invoice and other billing documents as required by our owner contract -Attend project and company safety meetings -Participate in preparation and management of Project Assessment documents -Perform quantity take-offs and assist in building estimates -Gather information or assist in Project Assessment preparation -Assist with creating Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for our work -Participate in project document page turn reviews -Assist with material procurement and cost coding -Foster relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors -Participate in company business development activities (client functions, design firm open houses, conferences, etc.) -Attend training for personal and/or professional development -Attend company-sponsored events -Participate in preconstruction meetings -Manage the shop drawings/submittals review process -Perform safety audits with field staff -Walk jobsite regularly to assess progress -Assist in managing project sustainability requirements and documentation -Participate in Operational Excellence Improvement events and support of the McGough Way

-Estimating Experience -Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite of tools -Strong communication skills -Understand warehouse equipment, rentals, small tools, services and costs -Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints -Understand quantity take-offs -Thorough and detail-oriented -Field experience -Electrical experience -2 years minimum of related experience, including experience with self-perform capabilities -Scheduling experience -Construction Management or related degree
