Loader 1- 2nd Shift

Overview

Operate forklift to load outbound shipments and unload inbound deliveries on 2nd shift.

Tasks

-Operates a propane sit-down forklift. -Follow shipping work orders. -Material handling of all products. -Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order. -Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. -Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label. -Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials. -Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.

What You Bring

-21-40 LBS -Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions. -Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers). -Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving. -51 OR MORE LBS -Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. -Ability to learn and operate new equipment. -Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers. -Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail. -Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size. -1-10 LBS -41-50 LBS -High School diploma or equivalent is required. -1-40 LBS -Highly motivated with good sound work ethics. -11-20 LBS
