Tasks

-Monitor market trends and identify alternative sources to improve competitiveness. -Collaborate with Maintenance/Facility teams to forecast needs and reduce unplanned downtime. -Maintain regular and punctual attendance. -Partner with departmental/value stream leaders and key stakeholders to implement a global sourcing strategy for Capital Equipment (including, but not limited to: fabrication, machining, testing, automation, facility, etc.) and Maintenance (“MROC”) based on industry and market trends and conditions and continue to assess in the medium/long term (3-5 years) horizon. -Manage contract compliance activities -Oversee sourcing of maintenance services, spare parts, and MROC supplies. -Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing plans with CapEx budgets and ROI targets. -Lead negotiations on contracts, service level agreements, and warranties to mitigate risk and ensure value and optimized TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). -Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required. -Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. -Develop supplier performance metrics focused on uptime, responsiveness, and cost control. -Support audits and documentation for capital projects and maintenance contracts. -Function as sourcing lead on cross-functional capital project teams. -Manage RFx processes, supplier/bid evaluations, and total cost of ownership analyses. -Lead sourcing for capital projects including manufacturing equipment (e.g., fabrication, machining, testing, automation), and facility upgrades, and infrastructure investments. -Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships across capital and maintenance categories. -Develop a segmentation database/strategy to provide visibility to S&C management & key stakeholders.

-Ability to lead project teams and provide direction to cross-functional project groups. -Financial acumen and numerical ability to manage budgetary resources to maximum effectiveness. -Great people skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience. -Ability to travel. -Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. -5- years of sourcing experience, with at least 2 years in capital equipment or maintenance categories in the manufacturing industry. -Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components, including fabrication and machining, both passive and active. -PMP certification -Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contracts. -Experience in manufacturing, utilities, or facilities management. -Sound communication skills, (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from leadership to support staff. Ability to influence leaders toward making sound supply management decisions. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint -Great critical thinking, organizational, planning and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, and juggling a heavy volume of diverse operational/tactical projects to deadlines and budgets. -Certified in Supply Management (CSM) -Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) -Knowledge of reliability engineering or PM (Preventive Maintenance) /TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). -Ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution. -Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) -Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, CapEx planning, and MRO optimization. -Communicate effectively and respectfully with others. -Lean Six Sigma Certification -Sound business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve difficult issues and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement.
