Overview

Oversee engineering/maintenance, supervise staff, manage projects at The Beacon.

Tasks

-Conduct performance reviews and providing feedback. -Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards. -Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. -Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans. -Assist with identifying and implementing cost-saving measures through vendor partnerships. -Assist in planning and executing capital improvement projects. -Provide technical expertise and support for construction projects. -Provide technical guidance and support to the onsite Maintenance team. -Respond to emergency calls and coordinate response efforts. -Supervise, train and develop the assigned Maintenance team -Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess building systems and identify maintenance needs. -Assist with analyzing energy usage data and recommend energy-saving measures. -Assist with Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks. -Oversee vendor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms. -Monitor project budgets and timelines. -Assist with developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance programs to optimize building performance and minimize downtime. -Assist in conducting regular emergency drills and training sessions. -Assist with negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance or facilities management with at least 2-3 years of experience leading a team of technicians -Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite -High School Diploma or GED Equivalent -Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills -CPO as needed -Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively -Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems -HVAC Fire Director Certification -OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 -EPA/608 Certification -Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening -Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. College degree is a plus.
