Overview

Operate concrete mixing and related machinery on rotating day/night shifts.

Tasks

-Setting grinding and cutting edges -Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures -Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule -Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable -Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures -Actively participate in improvement projects -Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines -Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role -Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required -Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained

What You Bring

-Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work -A valid Forklift License up to 8 tonne -Previous experience in a quality assurance environment -Strong mechanical aptitude -Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace -All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening. -Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills -Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
