Senior Cost Manager - Water Management

Tasks

-Pre contract support – including estimating and procurement -Collaborate with the NEC Project Manager to administer the post contract administration of NEC contracts, including assessment of contractual change and payments. -Commercial support / advice / guidance through all gateways to minimise cost and scope changes throughout the project life cycle -Participation in Risk and value management/meetings as required for the projects -To support suppliers in providing accurate and validated information for Project Cost and Financial Forecasts -Risk and opportunity (efficiency) – supporting the Client PM in validating costs for the Project Efficiency register before submission

What You Bring

-NEC Contract experience -Good knowledge of specialised field, including construction processes and cost and commercial management -Degree in quantity surveying / commercial management accredited by the RICS -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders and third parties -MRICS or working towards chartership status -Willingness to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on projects typically ranging between £1m and £20m. -Demonstration of self-management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure
