The Role

Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot AMI smart meter network, diagnose faults and install hardware.

Tasks

-Identify any patterns associated with repetitive faults and proposes solutions -Attend to faulty meters to diagnose faults and track issues through to completion of works -Installation of external antenna’s -Update of systems utilising a variety of specialist software packages -Issuing work orders to external contractors -Participate in work group meetings, site meetings, audits, and training as required

What You Bring

-Experience working around various brands of electricity meters -Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, or equivalate. -Construction Induction (white/blue) card -Strong understanding of wireless IP communications and protocols in order to diagnose faults in wireless IP networks and working knowledge of radio communications systems -Australian drivers licence -Previous experience working with a variety of specialist software packages (i.e. UIQ, SAP, MS Suite, etc) -Cable Provider licence with Fibre, Coax, Structured endorsements (highly desirable) -ESI worker card -A Grade Electrician (highly desirable)
