Tasks

-Interpret and apply state bridge bureau guidelines and specifications. -Ensure quality deliverables and collaborate with contractors and project managers. -Perform structural analysis modeling and design, primarily for state and local highway bridges. -Prepare technical design reports and client-facing documentation. -Design other structural systems including: -Use OpenBridge (LEAP) software for bridge element analysis. -Select appropriate construction materials to ensure structural durability.

What You Bring

-Structural FEA analysis -Minimum 10 years of bridge design engineering experience. -Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required. -Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) -Manage time efficiently across multiple concurrent projects. -Professional Engineer (PE) license required. -Travel required to support projects (as needed). -Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a computer effectively. -Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed. -Proficiency in: -Heavy civil foundations, retaining walls, bulkheads, piers, and wharfs
