Lead medical planning for healthcare projects from schematic design to construction

Tasks

-Function as client leader/project planner, responsible for meeting budget criteria and maintaining project schedules for a variety of projects; and be responsible for leading the planning effort for a variety of healthcare projects. -Work with the design and planning lead to develop and detail building systems and components, beginning in schematic design through construction documents. -Specialize in medical facility planning, programming, medical equipment planning, process mapping and report writing. -Conduct analyses of long-term healthcare facility needs and develop solutions involving construction of new facilities and major rehabs of existing facilities. -Lead medical planning efforts for healthcare projects and work with the project team in the development of projects under the direction of a Senior Planner. -Collaborate and coordinate with designers, project architects, specialty consultants and engineers in the production of drawings and specifications. -Contribute to the schematic design of projects and be responsible for functional aspects of the proposed solutions.

What You Bring

-A bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent. -Minimum 7 years of architectural experience in the healthcare market. -Excellent design/ planning ability and the potential to generate a variety of options for the layout of departmental spaces, healthcare facilities and campuses. -High proficiency with graphic programs, such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. -LEED AP and Architectural Registration preferred.
