The Role

Overview

Leases apartments, guides prospects, and manages resident move‑in/out at The Northbrook.

Tasks

-Effectively communicate to our current and future residents: prepare move in and move out documents. Use social media to deliver top notch resident and future resident experiences. -Maintains the listings of available and unavailable community units -Respond to queries/leads and coordinate property viewings, follow ups and updating of contact management database -Drive the sale and act as a knowledgeable guide for current and future residents using effective and professional sales techniques to discuss community layouts, and available amenities -Sell homes to our future residents: Use our CRM and other systems to nurture leads through walk in traffic, email, and phone. Use effective and professional sales techniques to coordinate property viewings, discuss community layouts, and available amenities. Maintain current and future community availability. -Absorbs and complies with laws/policies regarding Federal, State and Municipal Fair Housing Laws, State Tenant Landlord Act, and the Federal and State Safety Regulations -May inspect the condition of the community, including available units and coordinate with maintenance and vendors for services -May be responsible for cleaning, including community units and clubhouse areas -Assist in utilizing all company software in an accurate and timely manner for any potential resident documentation. -Prepare and review all lease, move in, and move out related documents with residents

What You Bring

-Safely and legally operate an automobile and golf cart -Communicates effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment -Current driver's license with minimal violations is required. Current coworkers may be required to obtain additional licenses such as CPR -Experienced and personable team members -Current driver's license with minimal violations is required. -Ability to use effective communication skills including in person, phone, email and written -For this position, the physical demands may include regular standing, sitting, walking and climbing stairs, use of hands and fingers, talking, hearing and seeing. You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds -High school diploma and one to three years of related experience -May be responsible for social media and resident/prospect experience -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals -Ability to interpret and retain a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and electronic form.
