Civil / Environmental Project Engineer

Overview

Design, analyze and oversee civil/environmental projects for water, stormwater and site work.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Assist with AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting, surveying, and field investigations -Civil engineering tasks including: Engineering report preparation; design calculations; cost estimates; and production of specifications and design drawings. -Collaborate with senior engineers on projects that directly benefit local communities -Contribute to construction oversight, cost estimates, and environmental reviews including onsite verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications -Support data collection & analysis, design and permitting for water, wastewater, stormwater, and site/civil projects

What You Bring

-Experience in site design, roadway design for subdivisions and local roads, drainage analysis and design, water, wastewater, stormwater and site/civil projects including preparation of plans, specs, quantity and cost estimates, etc. -Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a huge plus. -Experience in the consulting engineering field is desired. -Candidates should also be proficient in technical writing, possess solid communication skills, be able to interact effectively with teammates, staff and clients. -B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. -2-5 years’ of prior consulting engineering work experience.
