Tasks

-Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. -Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices. -Actively use AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and explore new approaches. -Build scalable, reliable, and secure systems on AWS leveraging cloud-native services. -Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query tuning. -Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring. -Continuously improve system performance, observability, and developer productivity. -Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Ops teams to deliver high-impact features. -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and experimentation.

-Cloud Infra: AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Terraform -Experience with NoSQL production databases (Elasticsearch or similar) -Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization). -IDEs: IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code -Geospatia: GDAL, PostGIS, Vector tile servers -Understands event driven architecture (ActiveMQ or similar). -Strong testing mindset (unit, integration, automation). -Excellent problem-solving skills, technical judgment, and communication abilities. -Proven ability to build and scale RESTful APIs and microservices. -Observability: Sentry, Kibana -Daily practitioner of AI-first development — comfortable leveraging tools like Copilot, Claude, Codex, or Cursor as part of your workflow. -Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices. -Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, design patterns). -AI-Dev: Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Codex -10+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Java and Spring. -Messaging: ActiveMQ, Kafka -Deep experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway) and cloud-native architectures.
