Overview

Process utility bills, support finance tasks, and liaise with suppliers.

Tasks

-Establishing best practices and an appropriate BAU process. -Analysing and processing utility bills onto a Sharepoint database. -Resolving issues from Operations, including the exchange of prepayment meters. -Support / cover for the existing Finance Administrators who are doing the same role for GB Mainland suppliers. -Building relationships with suppliers and operations to ensure the smooth running of processes -Support / cover for Finance Transactional Team in SAP based tasks, including processing non-utility invoices for Amey Defence Services Ltd, payment runs and daily cashbooks. -Support / cover for Finance Supervisor in managing the Buckshaw office. -Setting up utility accounts for around 250 properties. -Support / cover for Finance Supervisor in dealing with our primary GB Mainland utility provider OVO.

What You Bring

-Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to use own initiative. -Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders. -Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. -Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal. -Previous experience in finance based administrative role. -Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. -Membership of our Affinity Networks who connect, support and inspire diverse communities within Amey -Strong numerical capability. -5 GCSE passes including Maths and English
