Overview

Integrate radar, lidar, and communication sensors into autonomous vessels from design to production.

Tasks

-Focus on integration development for the entire vehicle, not on sensor development. -Investigate and reference applicable standards to inform requirements. -Take ownership of the integration process and support manufacturing and production. -Integrate individual components such as radar systems, lidar systems, and communication systems into autonomous vessels. -Work closely with the software and opto-mechanical teams to understand and meet hardware requirements. -Position radar systems to meet the requirements of autonomy and perception. -Conduct shock and vibration tolerance analysis.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with RF systems and supporting full product lifecycle, including manufacturing. -Understanding of design cycles and documentation standards. -Proficiency in CAD modeling and creating CAD drawings. -Experience in the integration of radar, LIDAR, antenna, and satellite communication systems. -Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define own requirements. -5 years of experience in structural design, mechanical engineering, and design engineering. -Familiarize yourself with sensors and sensor requirements, focusing on structural design. -Clearance eligibility required -Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including software, electrical, and autonomy teams.
