Overview

Perform routine road patrol, maintenance, and repairs across Dunedin district.

Key Responsibilities

• obstruction clearing
• culvert cleaning
• vegetation clearing
• sign maintenance

Tasks

-Clearing obstructions from carriageway, footpaths, and drainage systems -Cleaning and maintaining culvert inlets and outlets as well as roadside furniture -Clearing of vegetation and litter collection -Sign maintenance and repairs

What You Bring

-Confident communicating with the public and management -Available to respond to afterhours call outs when rostered -Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence -Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) -show good initiative and confidence in decision making and problem solving -Ability to work hands-on and unsupervised as well as within a team
